Innovation Centre of Viseu with 120 new jobs

The Innovation Centre of Viseu is currently undergoing requalification works to double its current capacity with over 120 jobs. Forty of those new jobs will be dedicated exclusively to IT and Cloud Managed Services projects with 24×7 support to national and international customers of reference.

The new floor will also provide an exclusive control room for the Operation and Monitoring team, new meeting rooms, a pantry area with a terrace and also changing rooms for employees, in order to encourage sports practice in line with the various initiatives organised by the Softinsa Sport Team.

This expansion project, supported and designed by the City Council of Viseu, happens 3 years after the inauguration of the Centre by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, being in line with the growth plan outlined when the partnership between Softinsa, a company of the IBM group, the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV) and the City Council of Viseu was established.

Softinsa currently has more than 200 employees in Viseu, spread over the facilities of the Coimbrões industrial zone and the Campus of the Higher School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV).
